Borrower Responsibilities

All students and staff have access to a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books at Conde Library.

Once a library book or equipment has been borrowed, it is the responsibility of the borrower to ensure that the book/equipment is returned in undamaged condition.

If a library book becomes damaged, hand it to a library staff member as soon as possible. Sometimes damaged items can be easily repaired. For damaged items beyond reasonable repair, the borrower will be required to reimburse the cost plus a processing fee. This will be charged to the student's school account at the end of the term.

If a library book is lost, inform a library staff member as soon as possible. The cost plus a processing fee for the lost item will be charged to the student's school account at the end of the term.

Senior Borrowing Permissions

Conde Library's fiction collection are classified as Fiction (F) or Senior Fiction (SF).

F - available for all year groups
SF - available for Years 10-12, or if you have permission from your parents/guardian for Years 7-9

Senior Fiction titles typically include more mature themes and content, such as strong language and physical relationships.

If you are in Years 7-9 and would like to borrow Senior Fiction titles, please speak to library staff at the circulation desk. A permission email will be emailed to your parent/guardian.
