In 2003 Kathleen Folbigg was found guilty of the murder of her four babies Caleb, Patrick, Sarah and Laura. These killings occurred over a span of ten years between 1989 and 1999 - none of the deaths were ever found to have been murder but were attributed to either sudden infant death syndrome, an epileptic fit or cause of death was undetermined. Kathleen Folbigg has always maintained her innocence and continues to appeal her sentencing. Continued controversy lies around this case with some people believing that if Kathleen's trial was held today that she would be found to be innocent.
