In order to come up with a topic you'll enjoy throughout the duration of the project, ask yourself some of these questions:
What are your major interests?
What personal experiences have you had that were particularly significant or meaningful to you?
What coursework did you take that you found most exciting?
What theories and concepts are most interesting to you?
Are there some ideas you have studied which you are curious about and would like to explore more?
What are your career or study goals?
What are some issues or problems faced today?
Have you read any interesting articles or books?
Still can't think of a topic?
Ask your friends, family, teachers or mentor what they've noticed that you're interest in or curious about! They might also be able to help you narrow down a big idea into something more manageable.
Look at some general sources to get an overview of the topic you're thinking of researching
